The only thing you will need is to be certified and in some gyms, you will get the opportunity to offer free membership to teach and train as well.
There are many actors who have been dog walkers for many years before they came into the cinema world. For several years, I did this in Los Angeles. Therefore, if you love dogs and outdoors, then this is a great option for you. The best thing about this job is that you are only required to do this either during morning hours, evening hours or over the weekend. This makes it very easy to balance your time between your work and your auditions.
You could be a freelance dog walker and you can achieve this by putting up flyers or handing out business cards. You could also decide to work for a staffing company, which takes a cut of the fee you get and you will get a lot of opportunity in the process.
If you’re in a musical theatre course or looking for work in musical theatre then a job as a music teacher can be perfect. It allows you to pass on your knowledge and also do what you love to do too.

The good thing is that you could get these jobs on Craiglist or even sign up with a promotion company. You could send them your headshot and then they will cast you. You could spend your day handling out flyers in Times Square or even host a cocktail event at a popular restaurant.
There are many actors who are doing this and they do find it quite rewarding. For this reason, if you are willing to set aside your ego and do other people’s chores, then this is a great opportunity.
A Real Estate Broker
This job requires a license and starting to look to match the potential renters with landlords. The truth of the matter is that this is a very tough market. You will be working on commission, but if you work very hard, this could be a great job to do.
Tutoring is a booming market today. You could work or freelance your services for a staffing company and they will match you up with parents looking for a private tutor for a specific subjects.
Video editing is another booming market today. You could help people with their demo reels. You could also try making videos through great video making software on the market. This technique comes in handy later in life as there are people who always require videos edited.
